01 How long does it take?
Most sites go from first call to live in seven days. Starter sites can be ready in three. The clock starts after I have your business details, photos, and copy notes.
02 What if I do not like the design?
You see a free preview before you pay anything. If the direction is wrong, I rebuild it. The setup fee is only billed after you approve the look.
03 Can I cancel the monthly plan?
Yes, any time, no contract. The site is yours. If you cancel, I help move it to a host of your choice. Most clients stay because $25 a month is cheaper than the alternative.
04 Do I own the website?
Yes. The domain is registered in your business name. The code is yours. I am the builder and maintainer, not the owner.
05 What if I need changes later?
The monthly plan covers small changes: text edits, new photos, new hours, swapping a phone number. Bigger changes like a whole new section are quoted on a case-by-case basis and are usually under $150.
06 How do I know my site will rank on Google?
Every site is built for Google from day one: schema markup, fast load, mobile-first, and a clean Google Business Profile setup. Ranking takes weeks, not days, but the site is built to be found from the moment it is live.
07 Can you redesign my existing site?
Yes. I rebuild from scratch on a faster stack, then keep your old site live until the new one is approved and the domain swap is ready. No downtime.
08 Are you really 17?
Junior at University School in Cleveland, class of 2027. I started Charlie Martin Studio because Cleveland small businesses deserve better than the default. The work speaks for itself, but yes, that is my real age.
09 What happens if you go to college?
I plan to keep running the studio through college. Hosting and maintenance are stable and remote. If I ever need a co-maintainer, I will recruit and train one before anything changes for clients.
10 Why should I trust a high schooler over an agency?
Agencies want $5,000 plus and a retainer. I want to build a great site for a fair price and keep it healthy for the long haul. Look at the work, check the testimonials, and decide based on that.
